Dr. Ed-Dee Williams' clinical focus is primarily on the needs of Black and Brown individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and attachment difficulties. Ed-Dee approaches his work with clients with a strength-based perspective looking to support their needs by helping them identify their own strengths and abilities and support them fully throughout the discovery process. Additionally, Ed-Dee uses culturally relevant techniques and adapts his approaches to fit the identity and needs of each individual client.

Ed-Dee is a Professor of Social Work who studies the ways in which Black/African Americans experience depression and anxiety among other mental health challenges. His clinical work and research consider the intersections of race, gender, and dis/ability on mental health experience with a particular interest on autistic Black youth and depression. Ed-Dee received his Master of Social Work and his Ph.D. in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
