My passion for mental health began when I was a child. Through my own personal hardships and experience as being the client, my passion turned into a desire to help others thrive. I took this motivation to the Michigan School of Psychology where I earned my MA in clinical psychology. This institution not only helped strengthen my competence as a therapist but also taught me how to successfully move the obstacles that are in the way of a client's growth. Through my time practicing, I've spent the majority of my clinical experience working with anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues, self-improvement barriers, mood disorders and racial trauma. If any of these issues sound like something you may be experiencing, I might be the therapist for you! I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Humanistic psychology, Existentialism and also mindfulness based techniques in order to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
