Reiki and Energy Healing sessions at Integrative Empowerment Group are personalized to best meet each client’s needs. Our sessions are provided in a safe and welcoming space with an emphasis on being inclusive for folx of various identities including BIPOC, Queer, and Transgender/GNC Folx. Some studies have shown Reiki to be helpful for: depression, anxiety, trauma, and insomnia related to stress. **All sessions currently virtual due to COVID-19
Liberation Reiki ™ with
On̄i is a black, queer, femme. She is passionate about working with BIPOC, Queer, Polyamorous, and Kinky Folx. On̄i practices from a liberation centered intersectional feminist perspective. She is a pleasure advocate and is invested in empowering folx towards the reclamation of freedom, self sovereignty, and individual and collective liberation.
On̄i graduated with a Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University in New York City. She is a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT) in Hatha and Kemetic Yoga. She is a Level II Ra Sekhi Kemetic Energy Medicine Practitioner and Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master. Reiki with Micah Saniyah
Micah (xe/them/their) earned their Master’s Degree in Social Work and graduate certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from Eastern Michigan University in 2016. Xe has six years of experience working with youth, adults and families in various settings. Following the completion of their BSW, xe worked for nearly three years in a residential setting with youth in foster care. In that capacity, xe designed and facilitated psychoeducational groups on topics such as grief and loss, sexual assault and other forms of abuse, team-building and emotional literacy. Prior to starting at IEG xe worked as a Support Coordinator at Avalon Housing, providing case management and supportive services to adults and families.
Micah possesses a critical understanding of the social forces creating multiple barriers for individuals with intersecting marginalized identities. Xe is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as individuals exploring issues related to self-worth, perfectionism, ADHD, trauma, Depression and Anxiety. Xe is also a poly- and kink-aware therapist. Micah approaches therapy from a client-centered, strengths-based, multi-cultural feminist approach. Xe sees therapy as a collaborative journey in which their role is to serve as a witness to clients’ life experiences and a partner in working toward their goals. Xe is particularly skilled at engaging with clients in a warm, non-judgmental manner and creating a space where they feel heard and validated. Micah enjoys integrating mindfulness and meditation techniques, as well as journaling and other forms of creative expression, into the therapeutic process.
Energy Healing Divination with Taylor Amari Little
Taylor Amari Little (Tay) is a Black gender-variant Muslim diviner who works intensely with spirits and creatures as part of her destiny. She is a Hoodoo woman, energy healing service provider, Seer, artist, workshop facilitator, (re)birthkeeper, and has a firm background in Criminology.
Tay fulfills a role of providing spiritual security + support to the spirits of unborn babies for specific families of color. She is also creator of Tay in the Water Podcast (on Apple + Spotify), full of conversations around working with spirits, Black gender, Hoodoo, Islam, spiritual warfare, apocalypse commentary, astrology, and beyond.
Historically, much of Tay’s community organizing work has also revolved around queer Muslim advocacy (including Islamic Healing Space of A2 and Ypsi) and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people of color, specializing in the cultivation of liberatory/healing spaces for LGBTQ+ people of color, and specific facilitation around Black people exploring their spiritual gifts. Much of his academic research has long focused on sex workers, with a thesis of exploring the ontology of Black (trans + cis) women sex workers, as it relates to the anti-Blackness permeating the world disrupting the ability to exist as Human.
Tay is a medium and works with spirits + other creatures for a living, so an energy healing divination with her is a process of bringing your energy back to balance, but also a chance to hear from some members of your spirit team (Ancestors, spirit guides, non-human spirits, etc). This means that throughout sessions, spirits may communicate to Tay different pieces of information, images, messages and other mediums which will then be relayed to the client during the debriefing of the session. These are specifically spirits + creatures advocating on your behalf. Therefore, a session with Tay is a divination, too, just with an added purpose of balance restoration. This is work he has been trained to do that also often allows for precolonial Ancestors and other types of spirits to come through and highlight their lineage’s gifts and affinities.
To ensure that the session is spiritually safe and secure, Tay utilizes the spiritual technology of her religions. Tay also does tarot divination, more personal and traditional forms of divination deriving from her lineages, mentorship and writing that is specific to development of relationships with the Ancestors, facilitation and event organizing."

Liberation Reiki™ Sessions: have the goal of increasing a client’s supply of life force energy while also addressing deep energetic wounds related to systemic oppression and discrimination. These sessions begin with an energetic/chakra health assessment. Based on the client's needs, mind-body techniques of Reiki, Kemetic Energy Medicine, yoga, sound therapy and meditation may be explored. These healing techniques can be used to reduce stress, anxiety, impact mood, enhance sleep, and generally leave one feeling more energetically balanced and grounded. Liberation Reiki is done on a massage table with the client fully dressed. This practice involves very light touch or no touch to the body.
