About The Event

Facilitated by Taylor Amari Little (Tay) of Integrative Empowerment Group, this is a Black-only loving space, with a free-flowing talk and then facilitated conversation for us and by us. First, Tay will dive into her own experiences as a Hoodoo woman and diviner who works with her Ancestors everyday as well as other spirits, and knowledge of historical Black figures utilizing Conjure and other ATRs (African Traditional Religions) for liberation. ATRs will be discussed as a primary tool for seeking liberation in the present. Afterwards, the space will open up as a free-flowing conversation to hear from other folks on how they have worked with or honored their Dead or other types of spirits, want to and maybe don’t know how, and give advice and share resources accordingly.

This location is wheel-chair accessible, there is an elevator that takes you to the second floor which is where #290 is located. There will be some food available as well. If you wish to and are able to bring to contribute to the food that we have at the event, you can let us know below.
